Consultations

Sometimes you just need an hour with a coach. This can be a phone consultation or an in-person meeting. Consultations are charged at $100 per hour. Here are some ways that athletes might use a one hour consultation:

  • Brainstorm appropriate season goals and general training objectives

  • Evaluate or modify a general (non-custom) training plan to better fit an athlete

  • Run video analysis

  • Injury prevention

  • Nutrition for fueling training and racing

  • Mental skills for training and racing

  • Swim lesson

  • Swim video analysis

  • Run gait video analysis

  • Track session

  • Functional Threshold Testing on the bike

  • Using training/racing data to determine an athlete’s training zones for heart rate, pace or power

  • Advice on optimal race execution (pacing, nutrition, tactics, strategy, goals)

  • Acclimatization to heat, cold or altitude
